Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and
summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Psalm 74:17 It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer
and winter.
Jeremiah 5:24 They do not say to themselves, ‘Let us fear the LORD our God, who gives
autumn and spring rains in season, who assures us of the regular weeks of harvest.’
There is a time to sow and a time to water to harvest and to gather, and there are seasons
of time for each. Throughout scripture there is mention of seasons and harvest,. Night and
day, summer and winter. A season is a time set aside for a special occasion, or appointed time passing through one
thing to another, or an exchange (Strong). Things of the world, or earth has four seasons.
They are a time of passing form perhaps a temperature zone, to rainy seasons and heat or
cold. There is a continual passing and changing of one thing into or to another. There are
seasons of weather, times of harvest, and seasons of life. Life is a time of growth which
weaves in and out of one kind of situation and opportunity to others.
Just as a child goes through seasons of life, in each season there are times of changed. First
life sprouts forth in a brand new child and the seasons began. They are things that are
expected of an infant and toddler for its season. Followed by children and preteen in
which things becomes sometimes as hot as summer. Pimples began, and trial of peer
pressure are sometimes hard. Also times of hormonal changes and new desires. Perhaps
there will be a look toward the future.
We must be prepared for the seasons of life and what they may bring. As Preteen turns
into teens we must began to make decisions on whether to follow the crowd or travel to the
beat of a different drum. One must reach back for the things that were shown and
demonstrated by parents or elders.

Autumn appears in the season of life. It is a time of more maturity when things that are not
needed fall off and are released like orange leaves in the fall. This is a time to began to
receive much wisdom and learning of life’s values making decision at some point for
offspring of their own. Preparing to start again in a new spring of life
Harvesting of thoughts and training now to be utilized as that child separates from its
initial roots, much like plants being harvested from their roots. In the time of harvest, and
set free.
On into winter with its white and pure driven snows, and frozen bark that may speak of not
being able to do as more, but to produce more mentally than physically. Clear and beautiful is the grey head that speaks of wisdom as many come by to hear the wisdom of the seasons
of some. The beauty of the winter stillness rains and snow can represent a rest to be
obtained as man pursues heaven at the side of God. Seeking that rest that is left to those
who serve and provided by the Father of Spirits.
There is a time to plant, and a time to harvest, a time to water a time to work. The sower
sows the seed and in due time a harvest will come forth in its season. Shown also by those
who receive the seed into the ground of their hearts and all it in their soul to produce more
than what they were before. Some ten, some fifty some one hundred fold. Then the reaper
comes and reaps the earth with rich reward (Revelation).
