Create Your Atmosphere – Reach

We have to create our own atmosphere in God. It is not up to those who are leaders, or those who are around us to create an atmospheric presence of the LORD around us. If we need Him, it is within our power to reach for Him. He is as close as the mention of His name in true worship to Him. We can lift to him our situations, we can lift our hands, we can cry out to him in fervent prayer. He will descend and assist us in creating an atmosphere of His presence which brings peace, love, healing and power.
If you want Him, reach out and get Him. We can’t get Him, doing our own thing. We won’t get him doing things our way. If we are going to do it our way, in our will, we will not get far into the Spirit. It is Jesus that suffered and died, we must understand that His kingdom is brought forth in His will.

Jesus said pick up your cross and follow me. He said pick up our cross daily, and follow Him. This would seem to say that those who would follow him have a cross to bear. Even Jesus did not want to bear the cross when it came time to go to Calvary. He said, Father let this cup pass from me, but in the following statement accepted the challenge and went. The cross is not something that is desirable. Many people equate living for God, with everything going their way, and only good things happening in their life, or the life of the true Christian, yet the example we see of the early Christians, the Apostles, and the LORD himself, was a life, prosperous in the spirit, but not necessarily peaceful in the flesh. A life without the everything wonderful that this life could give, and favor with some was the example of the life that Jesus Christ Lived. This is not to say that we will not receive good things, because we can, but if a trial or chastisement comes, we are still in the will of God.
It would be difficult to follow Jesus in our own way, hence the necessity of Him saying, If you love me, keep ,my commandments. We must be rooted in Him in order to live a prosperous Spiritual life. We are still subject, yet free from sin. Jesus did not come to abolish the laws, but to fulfill them by being a perfect sacrifice. Yet the commandments that bring us closer to God are found in the fact that we must first Love the LORD our God with our entire heart, soul, mind and Spirit, and then our neighbor as our selves. The most encompassing thing of the law was to LOVE others. We did not have to be commanded to love ourselves. We have often placed our will and desires before anyone else, including God.
But to truly love Him, we must place His will and His spoken as well as written word first, sidestepping the drawing our own desires. Living for God is not the passion of our expectations necessarily being fulfilled, but the passion of His expectancy of us being fulfilled. We cannot please the LORD without doing His will. We are commanded to know His will. We would not be commanded to know His will if it were not that HE expects us to do His will. Jesus did not come to abolish, but to fulfill; it is up to us to fulfill the will of God in our lives, just as it was for Jesus to fulfill.
We cannot be Children, and servants of the king if we insist living our lives as we did before we knew Him. Success in Jesus is not doing the same old things, the same old way, but as the scripture says, walking in the newness of life. Our life must be brand new, because the newness has entered us when we were filled with the Holy Ghost which we have received. If we are not being changed, it is because we are not allowing regeneration to take place, but we are usurping the throne of the kingdom of God which is in us. This throne is reserved only for the King of Kings. If we are living for Him, we have to do life His way.
In our interest of living for God, the Word of God, is not only informative, but the word of God is protection. In it we learn of the wiles of the devil, and how to resist him. With the Word of God we don’t have to fall for every trick. The bible gives us the fruit of his spirit that will give us freedom from the constant torment of the devil.
Jesus gives us command what to do. If a woman cuts her hair, she is shorn, why, because she will cut off her power. Our example of this is found in the word of God where a Nazarite’s hair was a show of his submission to God. When he cut it, he lost his power with God.
This kingdom is the LORD’s kingdom. It is His kingdom, His Glory forever. It is not about us, though the Lord gives us much, the LORD gives us assignments in His will to build the Kingdom of God. We cannot truly understand the functions of our position in the Kingdom of God. Because of this we must do the will of God for the things of the Kingdom of God to come to the position He desires.
In Him, we move and breathe and have our being, therefore in return for this life, we owe it to Him, and he will perpetrate the things of Life in his will. As well as the request we have to fulfill our desires that are not against His will.
When you ask God for something it has to be in His will. Many times we ask, and do not receive because they ask for things that are not in the will of God. When Jesus said, ask anything in my will I will do it. Jesus was speaking to the Apostles, who trained with him, and felt his heart. He was speaking to those who followed him in those years to bring in the Kingdom of God. There is a plan of God for his church and His word shall not return to him void, but will accomplish His propose. We have to line up our thoughts with his thoughts, line up our will with his will. It’s not our plan, we need to ask the LORD, what is your plan.
We must serve God without out spot or wrinkle on our garment. Our main spot is the attitude spot. Our most popular spot is the one that says “Don’t tell me what to do”. Yet in the kingdom of God, the scripture says that we must submit one to another, and submit to the elders or older people line the church, and submit to the leadership of the church. The more we humble ourselves and do what the Lord wants us to do; we get more out of the LORD.
When Abraham was found faithful by the LORD, the LORD began to bless him and make a covenant with Him and said anyone that curses you I will curse, and any one that blesses you, I will bless.. His faithfulness made him a friend of God. Nehemiah 9:8 Many want the promises of Abraham, but they refuse to be faithful, as Abraham was. Though we are not all called to sacrifice to the extent that Abraham did, the LORD expects us to be faithful in that that he has given us to be faithful in. Ten talents, five talents, or one, the LORD expects us to be faithful in that that he has given us to be faithful in.

At some point we have got to began to live by faith and do what the LORD says, and do what the word of God says. At some point we have to start doing what the LORD says even what we don’t understand. Some things have to do with the kingdom of God and not us personally; therefore we will not necessarily understand their meaning. When we align our will with the will of God, we will be like the children of Israel, when we call he will answer. We will be like trees planted by the rivers of water that bring forth their leaves in season. The LORD saved LOT for Abraham’s sake, though his prayer did not reach the qualifying number of righteous person in Sodom. The LORD still looked out for Abraham’s interest because he was faithful.
You will be shouting on streets of gold if you too are faithful and do things Jesus’ way right now.Image
