Who Jesus Is

America was filled with the religion of Jesus Christ or Christianity, but not necessarily the relationship.  Therefore, because people who called themselves Christians did not know Jesus, Christ personally and the important role that He played in the lives of every Christian, some have drifted away from the “faith”.  Jesus is not a religion, as well as the Christian faith is not something that is done religiously, but it is the knowledge of who Jesus is, as well and from that point establishing and having a covenant relationship with him.

Though in the re-establishment of the church in Rome, Constantine sought peace by calling God a Trinity,  our God is not a trinity. This  was the pagan idea of the day.  The LORD God himself has shown Himself in the earth in many more ways than just three.  The three representations of one God have confused many into a pagan style of worshipping the Monotheistic, or One God that spoke to Abraham, and told his descendents “Thou shalt have no other God before me.”  Further in John, the scripture taught in order to avoid confusion;  1John_5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Reading from the beginning of the Bible  we find: Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

God created all of what we see and know.  We also find that God is addressed Himself as a He, not them or they.  He is not ever addressed as more than one God or earthly representative.

When the LORD revealed himself to Abraham, and the Adam before Him, He spoke to them as ONE.  Not as more than one.  He was the one God, with many names.

As easily seen, each name described something about who He was, and his function in the earth.  One of the first names revealed that God was the Almighty provider of every need.  This is an essential understanding.  You see, it is in the beginning that He created everything.  He created the atmosphere, the water, the land and all that sprung forth out of the land.  The vegetational food, the animals that dwelled on the land and provided a part of the food cycle as well as the birds that flew in the air, and the fish that lived in the sea.  Last of all, he created a companion and image creature for himself.  He called him Adam.

In the ancient Hebrew writings that were essentially pictograph in speaking of God in being call the Almighty, meant that He was the provider of all things necessary to sustain life, just as the breast of a woman provides all essential nutrients necessary for that new born child to live.  A baby requires no other food, or even water to survive, as long as it is on the breast.  As the Almighty, Our God was that breast that fed all of  his people…ALL that was needed to sustain life. In Jesus’ ministry, he provided everything.  He provided healing, knowledge and understanding, compassion, food, he put the breath back into the dead.  Jesus told them, John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The scripture says that God created everything by Jesus Christ.  Also a rock of provision in the desert was Christ.  Who is he really?  I Am.  This two words was to the Jews, the Name of God.  He is the I AM. Jesus said that He and the Spirit of God the father were one.  John 10:30

He is the one who is ever present.  (All things were made by him, and without HIM, Jesus, nothing was made, that is made.  Yet, it was God, the Elohim, which some translate to be three beings, made  the heavens and the earth.  But, the scripture says it was HE. Collosians 1:13 –18.

He said to them,  before Abraham was, “I AM”.  Those two words again, this time it made them want to kill him because they did not want to accept, as he said, He and God were one.

This one who walked in the form of a man and spoke to Abraham, who dwelled in a rock and provided water in the desert, who was the pillar of fire by night and the pillar of cloud by day providing shade for refreshing shade, and light and heat in the desert, all of the settings was He.  A body, he said, thou has prepared me. Hebrews 10:5.  Not a spirit.  He was already the spirit, yet it was the body that was needed to provide the ultimate sacrifice that could be provided only by the blood of a spotless sacrifice.    As a man he was continuing to be all of the provision that man needed to sustain life.

As the man Jesus Christ he was not only a natural provision, but a spiritual provision, therefore, if they would eat, or digest, absorb and process this provision of his body and blood, they would be saved.  For them would be provided, all that was needed for their passage through out eternity.  I am the way, he said.

Jesus came to this earth as supposed the son of Joseph, but was the son of the Holy Spirit, who is his father and a virgin named Mary.  The scripture says:  Matthew_1:18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

This birth which shows the oneness of the Holy Ghost and the Father says that in fact God is only one Spirit.  John 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

When Phillip said to Jesus, Show us the father and it sufficed us, Jesus responded to Phillip; John 14:9  Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Then is Jesus also the father?

The Bible says that God is a spirit, and not flesh and blood.  The Apostle said that man is body, soul and “spirit”.  The mind that was in Christ Jesus, was the Spirit of God which was, as in us is our human spirit, a part of the normal make up of mankind, Body soul and spirit.  Our Spirit, as His lives forever.  For God is only one spirit, and Jesus Christ having this one spirit of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Phillipians_2:6  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

By having the Spirit of God as the controlling nature of His flesh, this enabled him to keep his body of flesh under subjection.  This was essential for the Messiah to have full control of His body, because had that body been allowed to sin, it would not have been able to fulfill it’s purpose of being an unspotted sacrifice.

Being the Passover lamb , for the sin of mankind, there must be a sinless offering.  There could be no blemish of sin in this “lamb” or else it could not be the sacrifice that could remit the sins of man.  The body of Jesus Christ, which the Spirit prepared through Mary, is that sinless one.  As the scripture has said, it was not possible for the blood of animals to remit the sins of man in sacrifice as the Law required and was practiced by the Jews.  In the old Testament, this “Day of Atonement” sacrifice could only push the wrath for sin forward for one year.  This would never do.

It must be the body of a man, thus the scripture stating that a body was created, Jesus Christ, to be the replacement for the blood of mankind would be the proper sacrifice that would satisfy the righteous judgment of  a Holy God against sin.  Jesus is our sacrifice, and His righteousness is applied to us by accepting his “way”  Acts 2:28.in this sacrifice.  Jesus Christ is God in a body of a man who came to pay the price for man’s sins freely, reconciling the world to “Himself”.  His name is JESUS!
