Often when the LORD allows something that His servants do not like, or understand, God’s servants respond by rebellion, backsliding, or “it jus don’t take all of that”. It is found that the child of God often, no longer gives the best of their talents for the kingdom of God, but sets out to take care of “NUMERO UNO”, or NUMBER ONE, as it is said. The indignation or anger toward the LORD through our behavior, shows what team our heart is on. Though some my say the enemy, often it is our own team that we default to, showing a little too much of ourselves on the thrown.
We can only continue this lack of service and war on God for so long before changes in our heart of hearts begins. Jesus said, He who is not with us is against us.
The heart of God is broken, but every prodigal has to come home first before the Father will celebrate him. Otherwise they continue with the pigs to slosh around and get dirty in the pig sties of life. At this rate, living with the pigs of nature or our own hearts get the reward of pigs in the end Pork was never a proper sacrifice.
Grace is given to the humble and resistance from God to the proud. This is what makes it hard for a person who is offended with the LORD to live for Him.

Grace as the church defines it, is the desire and ability to live for God. Perhaps when we can’t seem to live for God, or care if we do, we just need to humble ourselves before Him. The opposing team looses.
When the LORD is through carrying you through every situation you need to be perfected for the opportunity and calling that He is sending you to do, you will graduate as Joseph did to receive and become more than you could imagine, and fulfill all the dreams that He has given to you.
Just as Joseph would never have believed that he would become such a high ranking official to the Pharaoh of Egypt, he only had to wait on the LORD. It may not come after the first trial or persecution. For Joseph after he was rejected by his brothers, was thrown into a pit, only to see daylight momentarily as he was lifted out of the pit, to be sold into slavery. God was making him able to bear his trials, as he was given another break or escape, Joseph received a breath of fresh air as he became the steward and head over the house of Potiphar, only to be falsely accused by his boss’s wife and thrown in a prison.
Yet the scripture says ALL things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose, but the scripture says all things, which means more than one. When Joseph must have felt he had all that he could take in the dungeon of sorrow, he learned to interpret dreams and honor the LORD in his trials. All of a sudden things began to change, in ONE DAY.
Joseph was called not only out of the dungeon, but before pharaoh to use his acquired prison gift which was dream interpretation and administrative and supervisory skills. And in one moment, placed in the highest position in the land beside the highest ruler in the land. It was then that Joseph realized his dreams as even his family and persecutors would bowed down to him. Afterwards, he would also regain his family.
David, the future king of Israel, but at present a little sheep herder when the Prophet Samuel came and pronounced the blessing over him that he would be king. As David watched the hand of the LORD move in his life, he found that at the request of the reigning King’s son, he was admitted into the palace to play for the king. The playing worship songs was a skill that David perfected while he was separated from everyone taking care of his father’s sheep. He also learned skill in defending those who could not readily defend themselves, killing very ferocious wild animals as it was his responsibility to protect the sheep that belonged to his father. Everything was great, and David slew the giant Goliath for the king and his army. When David played for the king, the demon spirit that tormented him left. These things he gained out in the field.
David instead of a mere musician became so much more in the king’s eyes as he was made captain over a thousand soldiers, and slew many of the enemy. Even more than the king, because the LORD’s hand was on him. Only to find in his celebration of great blessings, that the king was becoming jealous of him, even as he offered his the hand of his own daughter. Though he won the hand of the king’s daughter by slaying two hundred philistines, he soon found his good times had run out and the king put him to flight for his life, and even the armies whom he fought so valiant among sought to kill him. He had to make his life in barren places, even with the enemy of the people he loved, and away from, as he stated, the God. He loved. Even in these low places the LORD was still with David, performing His will and training him for the task that lay ahead as the future King of Israel. David gathered his own army as many disgruntled with King Saul came to be ruled over by Him. Many of his family also came because it wasn’t safe for them in Israel any longer. This preparation of ridership was just in time for when the LORD turned the tide, and removed Israel’s king from the throne. David was already a leader, and able to step into the position of ruling Israel and their eventual king.
So be patient, and wait upon the LORD, don’t get offended, and He will bring more than you can dream, to pass.
Team Jesus wins.
