Dios te bendiga!

During prayer, I remembered a time when we were visited by a young man named Oscar who had recently received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus name. He brought several Spanish speaking friends with him and they piled into our front room. Some were sitting and some standing. He turned to one friend and said, “they helped me get off of drugs”. “We did?” I asked. “Yes he replied, when you prayed for me, I was free and I haven’t wanted any since”. I think it had been about a month. “Praise the LORD” I said. We fell quiet, everyone just looking around wondering at what he said. I was looking at one of his friends named Felix. I heard words in my head and tried to repeat them, thinking they were Spanish. “Dios te ben – bendiga. I repeated it as they stared “Dios te bendiga”. Felix had been looking down but then raised his head to look at me. “The LORD said that to him, I told Oscar. What does that mean?” Surprised, Oscar said, “It means, God bless you” He has been having a hard time lately, he needs it. I received a hug and a promise from Felix. All I can say is though they looked at me strangely, it was not because of our holiness that these things happened, God is the author of miracles. Gloria a Dios. Dios te bendiga!
