Eating with Sinners; Maybe this Christmas

We have many opponents in this world and there are many voices many of these forces want to bring people into destruction because they are the voice of the demon spirits seeking to cunningly keep souls from the plan of Jesus Christ. But if we truly believe that we have the truth that will save a person from Hell fire and the miseries of Sin and mistakes into a place bringing peace in troubled times and light in a dark place we have to be willing to show this salvation that others may believe.
God grant us that we know how to be friendly and that we know how to show love. Help us not to judge one another and the people in this world, but that we can see each person as a soul that the Lord wants to save. The scripture teaches that it’s not God’s will that any perish but also there is such that should be saved. We need guidance in this wisdom to proceed, by the Spirit of God, not our judgment of others. Being led with the prompting of God.We can ask the Lord for the right timing in the right place. .                                                   Before we eat with sinners we must be certain that our own salvation is sure. Jesus prepared 40 days and night in the wilderness and was tested by the satan who is the spirit of the enemy of everything that is good. He is also the creator of lies. A person can be used of the devil because we are all imperfect but we need to recognize when Satan is using someone. Jesus at one point even called Peter Satan telling him to get behind him. Now this is not a suggestion for us to call people Satan we are not God but this is an admonition to know the difference . We need to be able to respond as Jesus did when Satan tried to tempt him to do the wrong thing. How do we know right from wrong? The fruit of wrong or sin was already consumed within our bodies by our forefather Adam.                                                           It became a part of Mankind’s natural heredity therefore the scripture says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God we’re not better than them we have just received God’s mercy . The fruit of wrong seems normal to us at times and even pleasant. Yet our path must be guided by the Spirit and Word of the LORD.
Jesus corrected Satan on his miss-assumptions with the word of God. There are many out there who think they know or understand the Word of God, including those who operate within a completely different almost Bible hating certainly Christian hating religion, Though they believe they are all right we must know what is true and what isn’t. We must experience faith in order to be sure. We must have a relationship of God which includes the mysteries of who he is which is high above the natural relationship.
Therefore we must also know the Word of God. We must study to show thyself approved of God a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly dividing the truth. We must study so that we will not be the same as when we entered this faith. We must study to be able to give an answer to those who inquire of our salvation. We must be sure that we stay in prayer and in fasting. Our fasting must call for the intent of souls being delivered from binding spirits and habits and the devil .
We must learn the voice of the Lord and how to listen but not only how to listen but how to be willing to obey . We must learn to have a forgiving spirit and how to look for good in others. Our experiences with God will show us to use kindness to those that may not seem like they deserve it . We will even learn to love our enemies . Jesus taught His flesh many things through restriction. Through the forty days in the wilderness, through fasting, through arising a great while before day to pray, through denying some pleasures. We don’t have to do or to have everything available to us. Do all things may be lawful all things are not expedient the Apostle Paul said.
Knowing the word and to pray we become willing to do the will of God. As we become more enveloped in the presence of Jesus Christ through doing Godly things, we receive greater strength to do the will of God even when it is something we have no desire to do. Jesus did this concerning his sacrificial death on Calvary praying through the night in the Garden of Gethsemane. He took his capture peacefully. We learn to take insults quietly.
Of all things, we learn the voice of our King in order to be refreshed to be strengthened to be filled with wisdom faith and to serve the LORD with gladness. In these ways and more we can learn to love others and to spend time with those who are not of the same opinion as ourselves. Maybe this Christmas.

Act 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you

in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the

gift of the Holy Ghost.
