Born in Our Hearts
A fiery star shone in the east,
Signaling the
advent of the Prince of Peace
Into a world laden with defeat
Unto us this day a Savior
Came to be born in our hearts.
Wise men
anticipated as they followed the star
To see the
One on whom we’ve waited
To deliver a world of men ill fated
The One of course…who satan hated,
Who came to be born in our hearts.
It started in heaven long ago
This was for ownership of men souls
The devil and his angels did confer
To steal the kingdom and rule the here after
He didn’t want God to be born in our hearts

So a body for Himself, God prepared
And in the name of Jesus Christ came to be
The Savior and God of Humanity
But, thought satan, we’ll just see
If I’ll let Him be born in their hearts

I will rule, not this Emmanuel, satan said
You, king Herod, will help me defeat him
Find all boy babies and we will kill them
But an angel told Joseph to leave Bethlehem
So that Jesus could be born in our hearts.

To the mountain tops as the Savior was fasting
“turn these stones into bread” screamed satan laughing!
Now we’ll see how long you’ll be lasting!
No! “man shall not live by bread alone”,
But the bread being born in their hearts.

In Pilots death hall, Jesus is prisoner
Spoke satan, bow down and worship me
No, I rather die on Calvary
And die He did so that He could be Born in our hearts.
Alas we’ve done it, He’s finally dead
He can’t be LORD now, I will reign
An angel spoke, “He’s not where He was laid!”
He was dead, but now HE IS RISEN AGAIN!
Yes, risen to be born in our hearts.

Now comes the day of Pentecost,
The faithful year of jubilee
The Holy Ghost fell on the hundred and twenty,
And now what is this new thing that we see?
It’s Jesus being born in men’s hearts!

As the bright star shone that first Christmas Day
It’s fire burned again on Pentecost
Illuminating the way of salvation for the lost.
And Jesus Christ paid all of the cost+
So He could be born in our hearts

All men are born prisoners of sin,
But Jesus died, men’s souls to save
With His own blood our heart snow white He did bathe
And in His name , new life He gave
For unto us the Savior is Born in our hearts.
