The Oneness of God Made Simple.
Sometimes people have a hard time holding on because they do not truly understand and are shy to ask.
Here is my take on a doctrine of belief, the oneness of God: The apostle Paul described mankind as; body, soul and spirit, Man was created in the image of God. when prior to the time of his creation, no physical image of God had walked this earth. As God is one, man is one, who was created in the image of that One God.
The soul – having to do with the brain, attributes inherited, information downloaded into it at birth, and throughout life. The Spirit – which is the real person that will live forever, breathed into mankind at creation, uninterrupted life, guiding the helm of our ship by the hard drive called a brain . And, of course, the body is the body – a physical mass of bones, muscles, other flesh, blood and blood vessels, nerves, and enzymes etc. But Jesus Christ is body, soul and the Spirit of God, who is the Father of eternity and creator of all things. Guiding the body and soul of Jesus Christ is that One Spirit of God. God is “A” Spirit, the Bible says. There is no reference in the Bible to God being three Persons so we can safely believe that it is not so.
Thessalonians_5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are not given a spirit of fear, but commanded to try the spirit. Trying the spirit is not done by ears and word of mouth, but by being our knees in prayer and searching the Word of God. Many would be at peace with others if we would only try the spirit, instead of being troubled by the words of mouths. To keep a place of union and fellowship with the brethren and in all relationships, what time we are afraid, trust in God. Psalms_56:3

There are two main teams in this world. That is the team of Jesus Christ, and the team of the enemy. Which team would you like to be on? With the decision we make, we are selecting a side upon which to live and fight. What would it be like, if by our decisions, we are making touchdowns for the opposite team? Would we be causing our team to be a laughing stock, or showing great dedication and pride for the team we want to win our heart?

The contempt that Hagar the bond servant of Sarah and mother of Abraham’s illegitimate son Ishmael, had for Sarah and Isaac lasts until this day. It has remained with the strife between Muslims and all other peoples, especially Jews and Christians, who come through the line of Isaac, Sarah’s son. This has been a continuing raging sibling rivalry.
His hand shall be against every man and every man’s hand against his, The Bible, as we can see today with ISIS, Al Qaida and other Islamic terrorist groups.
..(JPS) Genesis 16:11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her: ‘Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son; and thou shalt call his name Ishmael, because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
Genesis 16:12 And he shall be a wild ass of a man: his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the face of all his brethren.’

Once We Know
No matter what things life hands us, no matter what doors stand in before us, open or closed, no matter what people have done, no matter what people have said, we will be alright as long as we accept the fact that Jesus loves us deeply. So much that He would be willing to die. We must allow that fact to be born within us that we can know the greatness of our worth to Him. Once we know, we will be willing to serve Him in every circumstance.
As long as we keep our eyes on Jesus the ground will stay solid beneath our feet.
